CallShield collects minimal data required to provide call blocking and spam protection:

Phone number data for incoming call screening (processed on-device)
Numbers you add to your blacklist and whitelist
Spam reports you submit to help the community
Basic account info if you sign in with Google (name, email)
Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app

Blocking spam and unwanted calls on your device
Maintaining your personal block/allow lists
Contributing to community spam detection database
Syncing your settings across devices (if enabled)
Improving our spam detection algorithms

3. Data Storage & Security

Call screening happens entirely on your device. Your blocklist and whitelist are stored securely in Firebase with encryption. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data, share your contact list, record phone conversations, or share individual call logs with third parties.

Spam reports you submit are anonymized and shared with the community to help protect all users.

5. Your Rights

Access your stored data
Delete your account and all associated data
Opt out of community spam reporting
Disable cloud sync and keep data local only
Export your blocklist data

6. Third-Party Services

CallShield uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and Google Play Services for in-app purchases.

7. Children's Privacy

CallShield is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all data from Settings → Sign Out. You can also email us at callshieldapp@gmail.com to request complete data deletion.
