Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set CallShield as default call screener?

Open CallShield → Shield tab → Tap "Set as Default Call Screener" → Select CallShield in the system dialog.

Why is a legitimate call being blocked?

Go to Block tab → Add the number to your Whitelist. That number will never be blocked again.

How does DND Mode work?

DND Mode blocks ALL calls except from people in your phone contacts. Enable it from Settings or Shield tab.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → CallShield → Cancel. You won't be charged after cancellation.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings → Sign Out. This removes your data. For complete deletion, email us at callshieldapp@gmail.com.

The caller ID popup is not showing

Go to Phone Settings → Apps → CallShield → Permissions → Enable "Display over other apps".

App is not blocking calls

Make sure CallShield is set as Default Call Screener (Shield tab). Also check that Shield is ON.
